The styrofoamplates is a type of groundisolation material.

The material could easily be formed with saw, knife and with dry paper it is possible to
sand to a very smooth surface.

Priming
The rocks are first painted  with a white waterbased prime.

Painting
For the top paint I use artistīs acrylic paint.
Different shades of gray och brownish colors are applied as thin washes to fill the cracks and lower areas.


Green umber, raw umber, burnt umber, ochre, white and black are the main colours
